LEED® v4 for Building Design and Construction
All the prerequisites and credits towards which points can be earned through the use of Mat.en doormats have been analysed.
THE CERTIFICATION REQUIRES
Doormats must have a usable length of at least 3 metres, be roll-up, easy to maintain and made up of strips (Enhanced Indoor Air Quality Strategies – Option 1 (entryway system).
The gap between one aluminium slat and the next must allow dirt to fall through, keeping the surface of the mat clean at all times.
Waste should be minimised, disposable and recyclable.
