Introduction

Traditional doormats differ from technical ones in that they do not use a slatted support system, but they share Mat.en’s philosophy of using only the highest quality raw materials and being entirely handcrafted in Italy.

Suitable for any setting and environment, they can be made in any size, in neutral colours or customised.

The inlay work is created using the best cutting plotters, whilst the printing is carried out using Chromojet technology, which ensures the print is washable and durable, even when machine-washed.

The product range is very extensive and includes Natural Coir (of exclusively European origin), inlayed or neutral, Synthetic Coir in outdoor fiber UV-resistant available in 3 different finishing (Velvet, Aran, Grate, Ris and Kiko) with a wide range of colours, for inlays that faithfully reproduce the logo, and the Ri.Vi (vinyl curl) which is made only from virgin material in order to guarantee maximum strength and durability of the carpet, also customizable through marquetry.

All these products are suitable for both free-standing use and installation in recesses.

For deep drying, Mat.en offers its own range of doormats, comprising mats with extremely high absorbency (Ecoclean 2.0), available made-to-measure or in rolls, whilst for a low-profile product to be laid on the floor, the range includes the Basic and Super doormats, the latter available in both a standard and a customised version.

Other specific articles help to complete he Mat.en product range, that has always as its main objective to provide a high quality mat in accordance as far as possibile with requirements and taste of the final user.

01 FIRST CLEANING

If you plan to place the mat in an outdoor area exposed to rain and snow, or if you need to prepare the sole for a later drying the most suitable items belong to this category.
These are in fact mats perfect for outdoor, with a good scraping power and an excellent drainage capacity of water and dirt.

02 CLEANING AND DRYING

For indoor or covered outdoor use these mats allow to clean and dry the sole at the same time.

03 DEEP DRYING

Articles exclusively designed for indoor use and to face with wet but clean soles, perform (depending on the model) a deep and intense drying of the sole.
